Thanks so much for checking out my shop. Just a little bit about me and how we operate: I am a 'retired' teacher/stay at home with 3 boys. I paint everything while they sleep. In order to help with time, I have moved to selling mostly only in stock/ready to ship items. I paint in groups of 3-5. If an item you are looking for is sold out, you can place a custom order. Custom orders on seasonal items are $5 more since I only paint 1 piece. I limit the number of custom order I take each month in order to spend time with my boys. Turnaround for in stock items is 1-5 days. Custom orders are 1-2 weeks with items usually shipping right at a week after purchase.

*Preorders are generally held once a month and include seasonal items that discounted for 1 week only. Check the Preorder section of my shop to see if their is current preorder or check us out on Facebook and Instagram @DLDesignsBirmingham to find out when the next preorder begins.

Preorder items ship in 3-6 week. There is date by which you will receive the item on each preorder listing.


Payment is required before orders are started.


Please expect shipping delays due to COVID. Shop owner not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Items will not be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen.

Items are shipped USPS within 2-3 weeks of purchase date. This allows us to custom make your order.
Please feel free to message me if you need an item sooner. I can usually accommodate you at little to no extra charge.

Returns & Exchanges

I gladly accept returns and exchanges

Just contact me within: 3 days of delivery

Ship items back to me within: 7 days of delivery

I don't accept cancellations

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

Returns and exchange details

Items with names/personalizations are non refundable.

Cancellations on non personalized items must be submitted 12hrs after purchase or they may not be honored.
If you are not satisfied with your item, please contact me so I can make it right for you.


Due to the nature of hand done work, pieces will vary slightly from the pictures.
The back of each piece is unfinished and may have paint and or marks from the multi step process that is used to create your piece.

A hook, ribbon, or wire is attached to each piece for hanging.
